What is JD Gatekeeper??
JD Gatekeeper is a Security Access Component for Joomla 1.5.x.

With JD Gatekeeper you can easily block those unwanted visitors.

Just simply add the ip adresses you want to block and off you go.
With JD Gatekeeper it is possible to completely customize your own block page. You can even let it look like a regular "page not found"

JD Gatekeeper works fine with Joomla 1.5.x versions.

It does not work at ALL, was this tested??

I installed this in a fresh joomla 1.5.5 install & i get nothing but errors, when I save or try to access this component

Here is what I get.

Directly after I install this, if I go to components >> JD gatekeeper, I then get this error

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /home/html/administrator/components/com_jdgatekeeper/models/jdgatekeeper.php on line 24

Now if I go to configuration the page loads fine... but when I try to save, I get this error

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: str_ireplace() in /home/html/administrator/components/com_jdgatekeeper/models/configuration.php on line 3

Yes it was tested on systems that run PHP5 as this is the required version.



This tells me you are running PHP4.

There will be no PHP4 version as PHP4 is end-of-life since 31 December 2007 and will be end-of-support as of this friday, 08-08-08.

Upgrade to PHP5 and all should be well.
