Hi @ All,

first i'd like to thank you for this great component........

2nd i've done this new thread 'cause the other one seem s to be solved ist is about 2 months old...

Im using Joomla 1.5.5 in Legacy mode with VM 1.1.2 with sh404SEF 1.0.11_Beta - build_147 and my problem is, that the E-Mails wouldn't be sent.....till now i've been trying the following:

1) turned of sh404 by component for testionials
2) cleared sh404 cache
3) tryed all Versions of JD!testimonials (1.0, 1.1, 1.3)
4) turned "send reminder" on -off -on -off-on......
5) send reminder after how many days: 0,1,2,3,4,5
6) no reminder if order is older than: 1,2,3,4,.....50 days
7) edited the "sendreminder.class.php; changed the value "86400" to "300"
8) deleted the tables from the database after every deinstallition
9) viewed my databese, the field "reminder-last-check" changes (if i'm logging in into joomla) to the actual timestamp

10)i've set the "send Email status" to "R" and placed orders on the 3.9,4.9. and 5.9 all set to order status "R" in the VM Backend.......

But still no E-Mail is send, except the very first time i've installed this component....but then, after doing some changes in the settings it won't happen again.......

Someone got an Solution for me???

Hello Otto,

First question is going to be, does Joomla send any e-mails? JD Testimonials uses the Joomla mail settings for sending mail that is why I am asking.

Hi Roland,

the normal Virtuemart E-mails are sent.....so i thing with the Joomla E-Mail konfiguration should be everything ok........

or are there other special settings for joomla?

ps: i just looked into my joomla configuration:

Mail: php mail funktion

and all the others are configured with my e-mail adress....

Otto,

All I can think of then is that the trigger to send emails on order status change are not happening. Can you PM me backend access and FTP access? This way I can debug the problem.
