JDTestimonials is wonderful but it displays all quotes and apostrophes with \' and \" so all my testimonials display like this ...

I\'m happy with this site. We\'re happy etc.

I've noticed that joomingdales.com website also has this problem - take a look at the recent forum post module on the homepage and you'll see that these characters are also being replaced when a post title has either a quote or apostrophe in it.

I apologize if this is something I've set up incorrectly but I'm amazed that nobody else has reported this as an issue because nearly every testimonial displays badly unless i de-punctate the text myself.

Any solutions?

Hmm, I have not seen this on my site. Of course if I would I would have fixed it

I will have a look at the code. Just a question, does it only show the \' on the frontpage or also in the backend?
