Is JD Testimonials a standalone extension for joomla or does it require Virtuemart? If it is standalone I have been getting errors with both component and module.

This extension is just what I need with one of my projects.

Sorry, this component requires VirtueMart because it reads order information out of the VM system. That will explain the errors

I would be particularly interested in a standalone version of JD Testimonials.

I will be using this extension for many clients, some of whom will use it for their VM shop (as designed), but others just want a generic testimonials interface that they can use. At the moment I just install VM for them and deactivate as much as possible so that it doesn't confuse them.

The JD Testimonials interface is great and it's great that I can use the same extension for all clients. It would just be nice if we could get away with not installing VM for those clients that don't need that part of the functionality.

How easy would it be to do this? Or would it be fairly simple for us to modify the code for our use with our non-VM clients?
